What we do

inkwell is a price intelligence platform for trading card games. We aggregate card prices from multiple independent marketplace sources and compute a proprietary fair-market estimate — Inkwell Fair Value™— for 230,000+ cards across 13 TCGs.

Our goal is simple: give collectors, traders, and players a single trustworthy number that reflects what a card is actually worth in the broader market — not just what one store lists it for.

Magic: The Gathering, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, Star Wars: Unlimited, Flesh and Blood, Digimon, Dragon Ball Super Fusion World, Gundam, Riftbound, Grand Archive, and Union Arena.

How pricing works

Inkwell Fair Value is derived from multiple independent data sources, weighted and cross-referenced algorithmically. Each card’s price includes a confidence score (0–100), source count, and market type (liquid, moderate, thin, collector, or single-source) so you always know how reliable the estimate is.

Prices are updated daily through an automated pipeline that runs quality checks, flags anomalies, and recomputes values twice per day.

Always free

Everything on inkwell is free — price history, portfolio tracking, alerts, market trends, and all tools. There are no premium tiers or paywalls.

The platform is funded through affiliate commissions when you click “Buy” links to purchase cards from partner marketplaces. Affiliate relationships never influence prices or rankings — they are computed algorithmically and disclosed per FTC guidelines.
